Norweigian Ninja

Standard

Norwegian Ninja is an odd movie, and has shown me that not everything coming from Norway is good. It’s supposed to be a campy spoof, I think, but they just didn’t take it far enough to make it really funny. I knew it was going to be a bad movie; my hope was it would be bad enough that it would start being good again. For me it just didn’t make it that far.

There were some funny moments, and some might enjoy it. I won’t watch it again, and unless I know some one is just crazy for any and all bad martial arts movies, then I probably won’t recommend it.

  1. Hmm… Sounds like an interesting movie, but not quite up my alley. Love your statement, “…not everything from Norway is good.” Ha! So true. I’d add lutefisk to that list! 😉

    Have a great New Year!

  2. The title got my interest, but now I know it’s something I’ll skip. I agree with August, that line was hilarious! “Not everything from Norway is good.” I’m still giggling. I don’t usually do foreign movies, except for Spanish, Central and South American films. Ok, that’s kind of a lot. But they are usually my kind of movies and the chances of them starring a hot guy is, like 98%. Those are the kind of odds I like. Thanks for the review!
